The Reproductive Window Study in Young Adult Cancer Survivors (Window Study)

Thank you for your interest in the Window study. Due to the dedication of volunteers such as yourself, we are excited to announce that we have met our recruitment goal for this study and are therefore no longer enrolling new participants. Cancer survivors interested in participating in future studies are encouraged to contact the study team at or by phone at 858-822-0768

Physicians and researchers at UC San Diego want to improve reproductive health in young women who have had cancer. We want to advance our understanding of how ovaries function in young cancer survivors.

Who Can Join This Study?

Young women age 18-40 who have completed treatment for cancer.

What Happens If I Choose to Participate?

You will be asked to complete a questionnaire about your health, collect a dried blood spot sample by a finger stick, and collect a saliva sample at four study time points: enrollment, 6, 12, and 18 months. You will also be asked to maintain a menstrual bleeding diary. Participants will be compensated up to $120 for completing all the study activities.
